Oppose discriminatory bathroom bills against transgender individuals.

April 25

I urge opposition to bathroom bills that discriminate against transgender individuals by denying them access to public restrooms based on their gender identity or expression. These measures are not rooted in factual evidence and pose real risks of harassment, violence, and trauma for both transgender and cisgender people. Numerous reputable health organizations and anti-sexual assault groups have spoken out against such legislation, as it does nothing to enhance public safety and instead breeds discrimination, fear, and potential confrontations. Promoting inclusion, compassion, and equal treatment under the law should be prioritized over misguided policies that marginalize vulnerable community members without justification. I implore you to stand against these harmful bathroom bills and uphold the rights and dignity of all citizens.
