Vote no on Todd Blanche for Attorney General As Trumps private defense attourney it was his job to defend him guilty or not. Attourney General's job is to defend and protect the American People. He has proven he can not make that transition. Trump nominates loyalist to him and only him. He fires them when they aren't. That's what Authoritarian's do AND not how our government is supposed to funtion An private defense attorney's ethical duty is to provide the zealous defense of a single client, regardless of guilt or innocence, within the bounds of the law. While the Attorney General's client is the United States and its citizens. The primary mandate is to ensure the impartial administration of justice and uphold the Constitution, even if it conflicts with the personal or political interests of the President who appointed them. Blanche's actions as Acting Attorney General—specifically the DOJ settlement involving Trump's tax returns and the proposed "Anti-Weaponization Fund"—indicate he is still acting as the President's personal defender rather than the public's protector.
