First amendment is non-negotiable. Defend veterans protesting Trump!

I’m writing because I’m not certain you’re aware of the job description for congressional office. You are supposed to represent your constituents- WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. You’re supposed to know what we want, and represent those ideals. And because you choose not to, we have been forced to take to the streets in protest of the Trump regime, the war on Iran, the war on women, the war on LGBTQIA- you name it. And that’s fine. We’re ok with that part. What we’re not ok with is the fact that you do not even defend our constitutional rights to do so. VETERANS gathered in protest at the capitol building. VETERANS who served this nation and got little if anything in return. VETERANS who understand what war is and why this one is ridiculous. As is their constitutional right, they gathered to protest trump and were arrested for doing so. They were zip tied to their assistive devices and removed from a building they defended with their service and paid for with their tax dollars. And you did nothing. Where are you? Are you ever planning on standing up for us? Or are we on our own?
