When is your town hall

To: Rep. Ciscomani

From: A constituent in Tucson, AZ

February 12

I am writing you and your office to ask that you hold town halls next week and regularly with notice and in-person when possible. As your constituent, you are my voice in Washington. I want to hear from you and have you hear from me. While I understand this town hall may be virtual, please ensure that the format allows you to hear your constituents and answer our questions. What President Trump and Elon Musk are doing - denying federal funds, cutting USAID, threatening the Department of Education - is a clear violation of the Constitution. They are attempting to take your power - Congress's power to make the budget and allocate spending - and make it their own. We need you to speak, every hour of every day, against these actions and then join us in a town hall where you can hear our concerns. I am not going to stay silent about this ongoing coup and you can't stay silent either. In addition to this, every day President Trump signs a new Executive Order attacking the rights of immigrants, of people of color, and of members of the LGBTQ community, especially the transgender community. For all these reasons, we need to hear from you. Please hold a town hall next week or sooner and widely publicize when and where.
