Please ban Flock cameras and other similar technology. License plate readers are being abused by police in many if not all jurisdictions where they are installed. They have lead to innocent people having guns pulled on them and being falsely arrested for crimes they did not commit. Officers have used the database to stalk and abused people they know. Please ban these cameras from use in Oregon and demand Flock delete all Oregon license plates, all images taken in Oregon, and all data collected in Oregon from their database. Apply fines for non-compliance and for selling or in any way providing the images and data to any other entity prior to deletion. Thank you.
