Vote to impeach. While it is understood that anything that may have transpired subsequent to the introduction of the articles of impeachment cannot be considered when you vote to proceed, the events of June 8, 2025, should not be so easily forgotten. The unconstitutional deployment of the National Guard against civilians exercising their First Amendment right to assemble peaceably is just the most recent in a laundry list of offenses under the current Trump administration. Your constituency is watching. Your constituency is counting his—their—offenses and counting your votes, and we will hold you accountable in the next election. Vote to proceed with an impeachment hearing. It is what the people. . . it is what your people want from you. Your district may be heavy with Trump supporters, but they are the vocal minority. The more he takes away from the poor and the elderly, the fewer of your constituents—who are largely retirees and working poor—will continue to support him. Stand on the right side of history; vote to impeach Donald J. Trump.
