Hi, I’m a constituent from Santa Monica and a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles and Santa Monica Democratic Club. I’m writing to urge Assemblymember Zbur to vote YES on SB 1374 when it comes before him in the Committee on Utilities and Energy. This bill restores the right of renters, farmers and schools to use the energy that they themselves generate. It is simply a matter of fairness that customers should be able to generate their own solar power in real time without selling it to the utilities and buying it back.
