I was intensely relieved to read that there is a last-minute ceasefire, but you must immediately impeach and remove this horrific war-crimes-tweeting president (and committing! The Venezuelan president’s kidnapping and the bombing of fishing boats and then repeated bombing of their survivors afterwards are also war crimes!). Strongly worded letters from Chuck Schumer aren’t going to cut it. You MUST show up in DC and fight for us. This erratic and dangerous man cannot be left in charge of the armed forces to satisfy his momentary vengeful impulses! You have two weeks to convince your colleagues, talk to the press, and force a vote. The emergency is not over; it is somewhat delayed. You must continue treating it as the emergent disaster it is.
