Congress do your jobs

To: Sen. Tillis, Sen. Budd, Rep. Foushee

From: A verified voter in Durham, NC

August 5

Members of Congress have been elected by the people to be our representatives, play the role of checks on executive power and ensure not one branch has more authority over the others. This United States Congress during Trumps second term is failing us miserably. The executive office has been running amok, taking power away from Congress, the people, the states, and the Supreme Court. REIN HIM IN. John Corryn said after bending to Trump's will and confirming Todd Blanche that "there's nothing we can do". Are you all giving up? If your jobs were anything like the average Americans, you'd be fired and left to fend for yourself on the side of the road. BE BETTER. Grow a spine. Realize this is NOT why you are in office. You are to represent the will of your constituents, not to cower from Trump's temper tantrums.
