This is NOT a settlement. The president’s $10B lawsuit against the IRS was unilaterally dropped on the day before briefs were due to explain how the courts even had jurisdiction to resolve this case. The judge has closed the case, but noted that because there were no settlement terms outlined in the notice to the court, there is no settlement of record. That makes this $1.776 BILLION DOLLAR SLUSH FUND nothing more than theft of taxpayer money without appropriations from Congress and without a court order. What are you going to doing?! I ABSOLUTELY DISAPPROVE OF MY TAXPAYER DOLLARS BEING USED THIS WAY. Your colleagues are speaking out, have you no spine to say anything? Are you hoping some of this money will come your way for supporting Trump and his lies about the 2020 election? Can any of the Republicans supporting Trump even pretend to be looking out for the interests of the every day people in their states and districts anymore, or is supporting Trump your only priority? Do you approve of spending taxpayer dollars in this way? If not, do everything in your power to stop this now! If you do, it is a betrayal of your oath of office and a slap in the face to all of the people you supposedly represent, who are expected to follow the rules of law of face the legal consequences. I don't want quiet pushback and whispered concerns. Speak out publicly, loudly, and immediately!
