Responding To Your 4/13/26 Webster Wire

To: Rep. Webster

From: A verified voter in Orlando, FL

April 14

I am writing in response to your 4/13/26 Webster Wire. Again, I am befuddled as to why you completely avoid mentioning the war in Iran. Is it because you are aware of its unpopularity? Because you know it remains illegal due to not be authorized by Congress? Because you see how ill-planned it was in its failure to strategize in the tiniest amount? Because President Trump has made so many vulgar threatening Truth Social posts about the war? Man up. You’ve previously advised that you support the war. As poor of a decision as I find that to be, it’s yours to make (although I’d argue, too, that it’s not entirely your position’s decision to make without consulting your constituents). So be consistent in what you’ve chosen. If you feel you have to shy away from supporting aspects of what the President is doing with this conflict, perhaps take a moment to reflect on why that is.
