Stop the proposed invasion of Cuba. Send aid. The world is watching!

Good morning. I have written you diligently and consistently for MONTHS encouraging you to step up on behalf of Cuba. The U.S. trade embargo coupled with the blockade of humanitarian aid has led to a virtually complete collapse of the sovereign nation. People living less than 90 miles from the coast of the richest country in the world are dying of starvation, filth, and disease. Now, I know this isn’t a shock to you. It may not even be a concern for you. After all, people in our own borders also live this way without assistance from the United States government, and I’ve not seen you taking up arms on their behalf, either, but now that Trump is advising the military to prepare for a takeover of the island, all eyes are on your response.
If you’d want to look like the apathetic people we’ve known Congress to be for a decade, have at it. Just remember- it isn’t just WE THE PEOPLE observing your inaction anymore. It’s the whole world. War crimes have consequences, and those in positions of power who do nothing to stop it are just as culpable as the aggressors.
Stop the proposed invasion of Cuba. Send humanitarian aid!
