I am one of your constituents, and I'm writing today regarding Bill H. 3537 which was recently introduced in the South Carolina State House by Robert Harris of Spartanburg. I strongly urge you to oppose this bill and do anything in your power to stop its passing. This bill is not only immoral and unethical, it would put undue strain on our state's court and prison systems. As a woman living in this state, my bodily autonomy should not be up for debate. Innocent women, children, and families will be harmed by this bill, and it will only be another burden to taxpayers. Please say you will oppose this bill. This is not what the people of South Carolina, your constituents and taxpayers, want our money spent on.
