Strip Section 224 from the 2027 NDAA before it becomes law. This provision would do more to entangle the US military with Israel's than the entire $200 billion in military assistance provided since 1948. That's not partnership — that's a permanent entrapment dressed up in procurement language. Section 224 is designed to embed Israeli defense technology so deeply into the US supply chain that it bypasses the annual appropriations process entirely. Josh Paul, who resigned from the State Department over US policy in Gaza, put it plainly: this is about sheltering the US-Israel military relationship from Congress and from the American public. Rep. Thomas Massie has already pledged to offer a floor amendment to strip it, calling it a sovereignty issue. He's right. Support that amendment and vote to remove Section 224 from the final bill.
