An Open Letter

To: Sen. Cantwell

From: A constituent in Kirkland, WA

February 7, 2025

I'm writing to urge you to refrain from voting to confirm any more of Trump's cabinet nominees. I'm very disappointed in the weak response from our Democratic senators regarding Trump. The least you could be doing to combat his fascist agenda is to vote no on his nominees. This is a coup, and you're easing the way for a felon to destroy our institutions. You must know this is not an exaggeration. Please do more to stop Trump.
