Please take a stand and demand Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith immediately resign from his position in our state government. No person should serve in our government when, while they present themselves in their capacity as a state official, say things like Beckwith has. “Now, I love Muslims because they make great Christians when Jesus gets a hold of them,” he continued. “But I hate Islam. And we need to be okay with hating again.” We "need to be okay with hating again"? Hating fellow Hoosiers simply because they don't share our religion? This is our state's Lt. Governor, speaking as Lt. Governor speaking as a representative of Indiana state government, while telling Hoosiers to hate other people. Please speak out urgently and forcefully against Lt. Governor Beckwith's racism and heresy. He is an embarrassment to our state. I urge you to take immediate action. Beckwith must go.
