I urge you to immediately take action to restore funding and staffing for the LGBTQ+ option on the 988 lifeline. Suicide prevention should never be politicized - it is a matter of protecting lives. Young LGBTQ+ Americans deserve access to the specialized care and understanding this service provides. The administration's choice to erase this resource is unconscionable, especially during Pride Month meant to celebrate this community.
