Don’t be a traitor

To: Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Cassidy, Rep. Scalise

From: A constituent in Covington, LA

April 6

The United States has three branches of government. Each branch was designed to be a check on the other two. If one branch begins to steal the power away from another branch, tyranny ensues. Judges have the duty to make sure the other branches are following the Constitution. When the power of judges is restrained from checking the righteousness of actions of another branch, the Constitution loses its power as well. Anyone who tries to create legislation to thwart the duties of the judicial system is a traitor to the Constitution and should be removed from office. Please remember where your loyalty is supposed to be.
