The Equality Act is less likely to pass than impeachment - why not impeach?

The House Democratic Women’s Caucus announced on Bluesky that the Equality Caucus has reintroduced the Equality Act. This really suggests that Democrats are not leveling with voters - why not get behind Rep. Thanedar’s articles of impeachment if the Party is suggesting it’ll pass a bill like THIS in the minority? These Republicans are more likely to impeach Trump than defend trans people… Democrats would much better serve and potentially protect trans people and marriage equality by doing all in their power to impede and try to remove Trump immediately. Please announce your support for Rep. Thanedar’s articles of impeachment.
