Oppose the President’s Budget

I am writing to ask that you oppose the budget for fiscal 2025 resolution 14 passed in the House and authored by the Executive Branch. This provision will cut essential programs such as Medicaid and access to the ACA for almost 14,000,000 people. Most importantly this budget will increase the budget deficit by $2.4 trillion.
I oppose all of these negative impacts that this budget would produce. The President has promised to reduce deficits without affecting Medicaid, the budget as proposed, would RAISE the deficit, diminish Medicaid and have a great negative impact on the country for years to come. I ask that you oppose the President’s current budget and ask the Executive Branch and Congress to go back to the drawing board and find a way to reduce the deficit without eliminating social programs or safety nets for the poor and middle class.
