Stop Federal Overreach and Help Missourians
To: Gov. Kehoe
From: A verified voter in Saint Louis, MO
March 7
Dear Governor Mike Kehoe,
I am writing to demand that you immediately reconsider your proposed tax plan, which unfairly targets working families and threatens essential services like schools, healthcare, and infrastructure. Missouri does not need policies that enrich a few at the expense of the many. Tax reform should strengthen communities, not harm them.
Missouri cannot allow the integrity of our elections to be undermined. Securing fair, accessible, and trustworthy voting is non-negotiable. Any action that jeopardizes this erodes our democracy.
I strongly oppose bringing ICE operations or detention centers into our state. Missouri must not become complicit in family separation, civil liberty violations, or abusive federal policies. You should direct state agencies to refuse cooperation with harmful federal mandates, use your platform to publicly expose federal overreach, and protect state resources to ensure essential programs continue serving families without interference.
Furthermore, Missouri voters demand leadership that prioritizes what matters: strong public education, real economic opportunity, reliable infrastructure, protected rural communities, and affordable healthcare. Anything less is unacceptable.
As governor, you have the power and responsibility to defend Missouri families, our democracy, and public welfare. I urge you to reject this harmful tax proposal, block ICE expansion, and take bold action to shield Missourians from destructive federal overreach.
