Reimpose full sanctions on Russian oil immediately. Every dollar from oil sales funds Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This is a huge betrayal to Ukraine and our NATO allies. Relaxed enforcement of oil sanctions will allow Putin to rebuild their war chest. Russia continues to slaughter Ukrainian civilians and destroy critical infrastructure. Iran supplies drones to Russia and weapons to militant groups destabilizing the region. American policy should not enable the Russian government to profit from energy exports while they wage war on Ukraine. The war Russia started with Ukraine is not the cause of high gas prices. Trump's decision, against all reason, to start a needless war with Iran is the cause of gas prices spiking. This is a problem solely of Trump's making, and has been propped up by our Republican dominated Congress' decision to not check his power to declare war. Throwing Ukraine under the bus to cover for his own blunders makes Trump lool weaker and dumber than ever. Stop this now and block any efforts to buy oil from Russia that should still be sanctioned!
