Resist the Escalation of ICE Raids and Detentions

To: Sen. Budd, Rep. Edwards, Sen. Tillis

From: A constituent in Asheville, NC

July 23, 2025

I’m writing to urge you to oppose the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrants and conduct public oversight investigations into the conduct of ICE agents and conditions of detention facilities. ICE raids are terrorizing communities across the country, violating due process rights, and subjecting innocent people to extremely inhumane treatment. I expect that you hold this administration accountable for their authoritarian tactics.
