No Sale of Public Lands

To: Sen. Risch, Sen. Crapo

From: A constituent in Boise, ID

June 28

I just learned that Senator Lee's proposal to include public lands sales has been allowed to be included in the budget bill. As I wrote to you before, I am very opposed to any sales of public lands that isn't based on the current legal, community-driven process. Senator Lee is pursuing an agenda that is not based on local needs or the best interests of public land-holders. Once lost, we will never get these lands back, and the flash of funding we receive for them will not bring us anything more useful or beneficial in exchange. Please do not put your vote on the bill with this measure included in any form. This is absolutely critical to me as a voter, a lifetime Idahoan, and as a voter. Thank you for your attention.
