Veto SB 104, protect transgender students' rights and dignity
To: Gov. DeWine
From: A constituent in Worthington, OH
November 13
As a parent concerned for my children's safety and wellbeing, allowing transgender students to use facilities aligned with their gender identity poses no threat. It creates a safer, more inclusive environment. Forcing transgender youth into restrooms contradictory to their identity places them at heightened risk of harassment and trauma. This bill wrongfully discriminates against a vulnerable group and jeopardizes their mental health, educational experience, and human dignity. Veto SB 104 to uphold Ohio's commitment to protecting all students and fostering an atmosphere of respect in our schools.
