Hello! I am writing today about H.B. 680, Regards criminal defendant substance use disorder, mental health. I would ask that you support this bill as it increases access to substance use and mental health treatment and allows offenders autonomy in choosing a facility that can meet their needs and offers them the most success in an effort to avoid recidivism. As someone who works in this field, I have seen one treatment facility or method might work for one individual and not work for the next. It is an individualized experience, and options should be provided and those options should be both faith-based or secular to be inclusive of all.
