Please support Senator Van Hollen’s Termination Resolution. Trump is attempting a hostile takeover of the U.S. capital. He believes that if he can spread lies about our communities, he can get away with anything. MAGA is attacking our democracy by undermining DC’s right to represent themselves, and they are forcing the military within DC’s borders, against the wishes of the people of DC, directly threatening DC families and communities. Trump’s actions in DC are just the tip of the iceberg. Trump has openly declared his intent to expand to other cities around the country. And he’s threatening to extend the federal takeover beyond even the 30 day limit. The Termination Resolution is essential to show Trump that we won’t stand for authoritarian power grabs in the United States. Thank you.
