It is past time for Congress to take back its power and end Trump's war in Iran. Senators, 72% of Americans disapprove of the war in Iran. 67% think Trump's actions in Iran have hurt the United States. Americans are unhappy with the higher gas prices, inflation, and uncertainty about the economy due to the war in Iran. Trump has failed in Iran. He has two positions: "Bomb the hell out of them and they give us what we want" or "We stop bombing them and they'll give us what we want". Neither of Trump's positions will work. Meanwhile, Iran holds all the cards. Trump's illegal and unjustified war in Iran has made Iran stronger than ever. And, the Pentagon is not properly accounting for military personnel who were injured in the Iran war. Adding insult to injury, the US military is running low on Patriot anti-missile interceptors and other air defense munitions that are necessary to shoot down Iranian missiles. Senators, Trump's war is a nightmare situation for the United States and you both know it. It is time to take back your power and end the war. Trump is in over his head and he is losing. There is no good way for the United States to get out of this war. And if Trump sends troops to the ground, do you think that will help Americans support the war? Absolutely not. The war is already wildly unpopular with the majority of Americans. Putting troops on the ground won't help. Senators, take back your power. Stop being cowards. Start putting country over party and do what is best not just our country but for the entire world. End Trump's war in Iran.
