Oppose H.R.1: the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” I’m writing to urge you to vote NO on HR1, the budget reconciliation bill, and its harmful cuts to vital government programs. I’m very concerned about the devastating cuts to Medicaid, the funding increase for ICE and Trumps mass deportation operation, the widespread rollback of clean energy tax incentives and climate protections, and the changes to student loan access and repayment options. Congress should pass a fair and responsible budget that helps working families and communities, not one that slashes our benefits and funds tax cuts for the wealthy.
