As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to support and pass the Abolish Super PACs Act, introduced by Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Summer Lee. This legislation is an important step toward reducing the outsized influence of unlimited money in our elections and restoring accountability to voters. For too long, super PACs have allowed wealthy donors and powerful interests to spend vast sums to shape elections and political outcomes. That kind of system undermines public trust and makes ordinary Americans feel that their voices matter less than those with the biggest checkbooks. A democracy should be decided by voters, not by billionaires and outside spending groups. The Abolish Super PACs Act would place meaningful limits on super PAC contributions, helping curb the flow of unlimited money into federal campaigns. It would not silence political participation; it would simply help ensure that no one can buy disproportionate influence over our elections. That is a fair and necessary reform. I support this bill because I believe democracy works best when every citizen has an equal voice. Congress should act to strengthen public confidence in the electoral process and reduce the power of money in politics. I respectfully ask you to co-sponsor and vote for the Abolish Super PACs Act. Thank you for your time and for your service to our country.
