I am writing to you to ask that you not relinquish your power to check the extremes of the executive branch Trump Presidency. We need all our checks and balances, national and state levels. They are there for a reason, they are what has saved our fragile democracy through trying times in our history. And, just like a doctor needs to know medical history to properly treat you, we also need to acknowledge the full history of our country so as a nation we ca n make informed decisions.
