As hard as it is for me to believe, I’m writing today to respectfully ask that you and other democratic women in congress consider reaching out to Marjorie Taylor Green. I realize she may simply be positioning herself to run for bigger office, but I believe in validating what is valid. Likely she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed and has therefore been willing to believe a lot of conspiracy theories because of that. Exactly like her constituents. I have to wonder if the time she spent talking/listening to the Epstein victims changed her somehow. Maybe it created a crack where some sanity could sneak in? I think she’s seeing in real time just how much the old white man Republican party doesn’t respect women and she’s getting sick of it (because it is affecting her now). I also think if someone could get this woman away from the MAGA cult for a solid week and bombard her with evidence for what’s really true instead of the crazy conspiracies, she might actually come around. She’s halfway to deprogramming herself already. That gives me a tiny bit of hope that maybe her constituents might also be reachable at some point.
