Restore IRS staffing. After more than 60 years of filing tax returns without a single problem, this year I was required to verify my identity. OK, so I went online and filled out the form. Then I was told I needed to call the local office to verify my identity again with additional forms. OK, so I called the local office. 6 times in a row I was told to call back some other day. Finally I got through to them was placed on hold for an hour and then disconnected. I’m telling you this because taxpayer service has really suffered since Trump decimated the IRS. We need to restore staffing for the IRS and other agencies raped by Trump and his little brown-nosing buddy Musk.
