You are hopelessly disconnected from reality. If any normal timeline, do I was a right to repair? Yes. Do I want headlights with non-blinding brightness? Yes. Do I want healthy debate and conversations across the political spectrum? Yes. We are not living in a normal timeline. Trump, Elon, and the rest of the MAGotts are day by day executing a coup. I don’t see how our system recovers from this wholesale dismantling. This is not normal politics where the incoming administration tries to do all kinds of overreach and they are eventually hampered by the judiciary and congress. Why? For one reason, the MAGott takeover of the courts is nearly complete. And for the other? You and others in congress pretending this is all normal. I don’t know if there is still time to save democracy, but if there is, it’s up to you! Take your head out of the sand and pay attention to the actual timeline we’re living in, not your fantasy hold-hands-across-the-aisle version. Speak out in defense of democracy now. Without saving it, none of your other priorities stand a chance.
