I received your call regarding the government shutdown with great interest, hoping to hear a plan that would stop making our military work without paying or threaten support for mothers and infants on WIC. Instead, you repeated the lie that Democrats shut down the government over their desire to fund illegal aliens, when you know that illegal immigrants cannot access that healthcare. Instead, you, Mike Johnson, and the rest of the GOP tucked your tails and ran from DC so that even if the Senate made a deal, the House couldn’t vote. In your misguided loyalty to President Trump over the people of your district, state, and country, you are willing to let millions of Americans get hurt. Stop this stupidity. End the shutdown.
