Hate should not be honored. Apologize and condemn Charlie Kirk.

I am very disappointed to find out that you voted to "honor the legacy" of Charlie Kirk, an action that does nothing but sanitize and whitewash the hateful rhetoric that Kirk spread during his life.
To show "honor" to such a hateful person is to imply that you yourself endorse such actions and opinions. From saying that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a "huge mistake" and Martin Luther King Jr. was "awful", blaming "Jews" for spreading "cultural Marxist ideas" that needed to be "cleansed", and the death penalty for gay people is "God's perfect law"; are these the ideas you believe in? That the spreading of his bigoted ideology was an example of “respectful, civil discourse”?
Such a claim is nothing short of preposterous. If you are willing to jump at the chance to join Republicans in promoting hatred now, it is hard for me to see how you will not do the same on more consequential actions in the future. I can only hope that you will see the error in your ways.
