Reject SAVE Act - protect voting rights, fair elections

To: Sen. Grassley, Sen. Ernst

From: A constituent in Boone, IA

April 15

The SAVE Act constitutes voter suppression by imposing unreasonable documentary requirements to prove citizenship that will disproportionately disenfranchise eligible voters from vulnerable communities who may lack easy access to such documents. This legislation erects unnecessary barriers to the ballot box and undermines free and fair elections. Rather than obstruct the fundamental right to vote, measures should be taken to protect and expand access for all lawful voters.
