Trump is on TV telling everyone he doesn't want to hear about affordability because the prices of food and gas are down. Virginians aren't idiots. We know how much we're paying for gas, and it's not $2 in Harrisonburg or Augusta County. We know we're paying more for food. Trump said he was going to make Walmart lower prices. I shop at Walmart, and I'm paying $25 more per week for groceries. Trump is an elderly billionaire who has no idea what I'm paying for food and gas. He can say whatever he wants, but I know how numbers work.
