I’m writing to voice my disappointment as my representative in your support for President Trump’s Doge actions. In my career I worked with many organizations to improve efficiency and quality. The chainsaw approach does not work and is harming our country. Since labor is only 5% of the Federal budget and your party is proposing trillions in tax cuts all the harm Doge is doing will not balance the budget. Finally I watched the President’s highly partisan speech to the Nation. I would think you would be embarrassed by the lies about Social Security benefits going to those over 120, and the inability of our President to understand the difference between a transgender mouse and a transgenic mouse. We shouldn’t have to fact check everything said in the People’s house. It is your job as a member of Congress to determine the right job for our Nation- not Elon Musk and his Doge team. It is your job to function as the 3rd branch of government and not to cede that responsibility to the President. Finally, why is our Army removing images of the Enola Gay in the name of your anti DEI policies? Are there any adults left?
