The Trump administration's tariffs and fiscal policies are exacerbating inequality and concentrating wealth among the richest individuals and corporations. Tariffs disproportionately burden low-income families by inflating costs on everyday goods and services, while massive tax cuts overwhelmingly benefit the wealthy and allow decreased enforcement on the richest tax evaders. This blatant redistribution of wealth upwards is unacceptable. We cannot allow the administration to continue advancing policies that widen the economic divide and enable such brazen cronyism. Fiscal responsibility and equitable taxation should be prioritized to address the deficit without overburdening the poor and working class. Furthermore, the expansion of unchecked executive authority through abuse of tariff powers undermines our democratic system of checks and balances. The American people deserve economic policies that prioritize their well-being over the enrichment of a privileged few. I urge you to take a stand against the administration's agenda that perpetuates this consolidation of wealth at the very top while leaving most citizens behind. We need representatives willing to fight for the interests of all their constituents, not just the ultra-wealthy donors and corporate allies. The path forward must rebuild an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the very top.
