Investigate Trump's Betrayal of America's Commitment to Ukraine

Investigate Trump's open alignment with Russia and his betrayal of America's binding commitment to Ukraine. In 1994, the United States signed the Budapest Memorandum, promising to protect Ukraine's borders in exchange for Ukraine surrendering the third-largest nuclear arsenal in the world. Trump is now shredding that promise in plain sight.
He has lifted sanctions on Russian oil, giving Putin a cash infusion for his war effort. He has welcomed Putin to American soil, had U.S. soldiers roll out a red carpet for an ICC-indicted war criminal, and threatened Zelensky for defending his country. The Mueller Report and the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee both documented how Trump's campaign chairman Paul Manafort worked with Russian operative Konstantin Kilimnik on a plan to carve off eastern Ukraine and hand it to Russia. That plan is now being executed. Trump is not a neutral party in this conflict.
Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons because America gave its word. Congress must not stay silent while a president tears up that guarantee and sides with the invader. The question is no longer whether Trump is undermining U.S. national security. The question is how much longer Republicans in Congress will protect him while he does it.
