Please start doing you jobs! Pass a law that says we are entitled to clean water! Judge Kurt Engelhardt reached his conclusion about clean water not being a right using the history-and-tradition test the Supreme Court created in Dobbs to end ab@rt!on rights, citing it six separate times. The ruling binds Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi, roughly forty million people. The Sixth Circuit ruled the other way on Flint, creating a circuit split the Supreme Court can take up. Nine states protect clean drinking water at the state level. There is no federal protection. On the same day the ruling came down, Trump’s EPA moved to weaken the Clean Water Act further. ‪@MotherJones‬ broke this.
