The Trump administration is evicting bison herds from federal grasslands in Montana, siding with ranchers and Republican leaders over environmentalists and tribal leaders.
In a corner of the Montana prairie, the Trump administration wants to evict hundreds of bison from their home range, and replace them with cattle.
The conflict centers on 900 bison owned by the group, which was allowed by multiple administrations, including President Trump’s first, to graze on federal lands.
The resulting clash on the prairie has pitted ranchers and Republican leaders against conservation groups and Native American Tribes.
Once again, Trump is using the Federal government to sell out our beautiful public lands and at risk wildlife to benefit a small group of his voting base.
Everything the Republican party sides against conservation and environmental protections for corporate profit, we take a step closer to making this country a barren wasteland.
Our natural resources are not guaranteed.
It's time to fight to protect and preserve our public lands and their inhabitants for future generations.
