We must know if the President was involved with the KGB

To: Justices Court

From: A constituent in Des Moines, IA

February 22

scotus I am writing as a concerned constituent regarding recent reports in credible media that raise serious questions about potential foreign influence on American political affairs. Various reputable sources have highlighted claims that warrant further, impartial examination. For instance, the Times of Israel reported claims suggesting that efforts were made over decades to groom President Trump as a potential asset (https://www.timesofisrael.com/kgb-groomed-trump-as-an-asset-for-40-years-former-spy-says/). Similarly, The Guardian detailed allegations from a former KGB operative (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/29/trump-russia-asset-claims-former-kgb-spy-new-book), and both Le Monde/France 5 (https://www.lemonde.fr/culture/article/2024/10/20/operation-trump-les-espions-russes-a-la-conquete-de-l-amerique-sur-france-5-le-parti-republicain-et-donald-trump-sous-l-influence-de-moscou_6356895_3246.html) and the BBC (https://www.bbc.com/news/business-45143971) have presented perspectives that merit deeper review. While I do not assert any definitive involvement of President Trump with the KGB, these reports raise enough questions to justify a comprehensive, bipartisan investigation by Congress. Such an inquiry would serve to confirm or refute these claims, providing much-needed clarity to the American people. A thorough investigation would demonstrate our commitment to transparency and national security by ensuring that any potential threats are addressed through open and honest inquiry. I respectfully urge you to support or initiate a bipartisan investigation into these matters. In addition, please respond with the steps you plan to take to investigate this issue and your rationale for any decision not to pursue further inquiry, along with any recommendations you might have for addressing this issue. If you determine that no action is needed, please share your reasons for that decision. Taking action now will help prevent further speculation at a time when certainty and trust in our institutions are essential. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely,
