We are officially a fascist country. Trump claimed, in his most recent interview, that he has all the power and can only be stopped by his mortality and his mind. And the Republicans in Congress have allowed him free rein. You could've provided checks and balances and you could've chosen to uphold your oaths to the Constitution. But you didn't. ICE is now allowed to murder, shoot at us, kidnap us, and terrorize us in our cities, in our streets, in our neighborhoods, at our places of work, at our schools (where they are terrorizing children), and in courtrooms. The Republicans in Congress have allowed this as well. We have a demented, unhinged, mentally and physically unwell and incapacitated man in the White House with an evil man, Stephen Miller, calling the shots. The GOP is silent and full of cowards, and the SCOTUS is full of Trump's right wing extremists. But we Americans have the numbers in our favor. THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS, REGARDLESS IF POLITICAL AFFILIATION, DO NOT SUPPORT TRUMP. We refuse to become Nazi Germany. We refuse to become Russia. So my Republican Senators, now is the time to choose. Will you choose to save our country? Will you choose to start doing the jobs you were elected to do? Will you choose to give the people the representation we deserve? Or will you continue to sit spinelessly and allow your Party to be taken over by Nazis. Will you allow the United States to fall into under an authoritarian, White Nationalist rule? Will you continue to be complicit in the destruction of our country and the deaths of our citizens? Are you Nazis? Now is the time to decide. And we the people are watching.
