You must oppose Section 1217 of the NDAA. Given Israel's actions in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and the illegal war against Iran it's wrong to legislate unprecedented US-Israel defense integration. Senators shouldn't support measures that give Israel-or any country-huge leverage over US defense priorities. This legislation will also make it extremely difficult for lawmakers, taxpayers, and future administrations to track and regulate US support for Israel. I expect you to oppose Section 1217, and ask you to vote against the NDAA if this provision remains in the bill. Also, vote no on the $3.3 billion in security assistance for Israel. You should oppose military aid to any country currently violating US foreign assistance laws - including Israel.
