H.R. 5300 I am writing to demand that you vote "No" on and vociferously oppose this bill. The provision that would allow the Secretary of State to unilaterally strip US citizens of their passports over speech the Secretary finds objectionable is BLATANTLY unconstitutional and is a direct attack on American citizens' freedom of speech by attempting to frighten them into silence. This is not something a healthy democracy does, it is the sign of an authoritarian regime. I demand that you do your job and oppose this bill in every possible way until it is dead.
