President Trump and Elon are breaking the law, and our economy is being threatened. It is literally your job to be a check on their actions and hold the executive branch accountable. Stop this absurd nonsense with accessing treasury information, personnel files, and whatnot. It needs to stop immediately. The president’s recent actions are also threatening to destroy our economy, which is quite the opposite of what he promised to do. Tariffs can easily backfire, and even if they do not, the people who voted him in are going to suffer from higher prices on nearly everything. The same goes with this immigration crackdown nonsense. Being from a region of farmers you know very well how important immigrants are to getting our food harvested and the functioning of business in general. You think eggs prices were bad? This keeps up and that’s as drop in the ocean. This is bad for business, bad for investments, and bad for my personal budget. Things are off the rails. We need you to be the adult in the room and do what’s right for your people.
