In early July, the Arizona Department of Health Services blocked cross-border ambulance operations from Kane County, UT. This means that residents of Fredonia, AZ, who were previously able to receive emergency assistance from Kanab, UT (only 7 miles away), now have to wait to receive assistance from Colorado City, AZ (32 miles away). This is already terrible news, and when you add in the massive fires in the area, it is unacceptable for the residents of Fredonia. Please restore cross-border ambulance operations so these people can get timely emergency medical care.
