It is unthinkable why Senate Democrats would vote to hand the few pieces of leverage that we have away for free, when constituents are begging their elected officials to protect Social Security, protect Medicaid, and protect Medicare. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was the one who led this betrayal of Democrats’ constituents by voting YES on the GOP Funding Bill and for Cloture. His arrogance led to an ultimate failing of his job: listening to his constituents, party leadership, colleagues. Sen. Chuck Schumer can no longer be the Senate Minority Leader and must be immediately removed from Democrat Party leadership. Just 10 members (20% of the Senate Democratic conference) can call for a meeting of the conference to vote on whether to replace Schumer as Conference Chair and Democratic Leader. As my elected Democrat Senator, I am demanding that you call for this meeting and vote to replace Schumer as Conference Chair and Democratic Leader. Thank you.
